About Campervan Games

Campervan Games is a Melbourne based Indie Game Development Studio founded by Matthew Deline focused on creating wholesome, engaging experiences. I've worked with clients and collaborators from Australia, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Canada. Previously, we were working on playful physical installations, and the modern retro-inspired arcade game, Shape Arcade

We have relaunched in 2026 to offer expert consulting services in game development, production, and design. I've worked on console, mobile, VR, and PC titles (primarily in Unity) - and have helped multiple studios ship over 30 titles across multiple different storefronts over the past seven years.

We are now offering consulting and game development services in the following areas of expertise while we prototype new ideas:

🚀 Game Launch and Support for iOS, Apple Arcade, Android, Web, Steam, and Meta Quest

🛠️ CI/CD pipeline setup and build management

🎮 Unity Game Development

🎓 Guest Lectures and Speaking Engagements

🤖 Testing and Automation Workflows

📝 Agile Production for Game Development Teams

📈 Rapid Hiring and Scaling for Long Term Growth

Merge Kitchen

Our new prototype: a cosy merge-and-cook game about travel and good food. Combine ingredients on the board, cook dishes at your stations, and serve the regulars who drop by your kitchen.

It's an early, playable demo - free, in your browser, best on a phone.

Play the demo On itch.io Design brief

On iPhone or Android, open the demo and add it to your home screen for a full-screen app-style launch.

How it's being made

This prototype is a solo project built with AI assistance. The code was written together with Claude, Anthropic's AI model, working from my design and direction, and the placeholder art, characters and icons were generated with generative AI tools. It has been a great way to experiment with new tools and learn what they are good for, and to get a playable idea in front of people quickly.

The full game will be made with 100% human-made assets, on the foundation of the code we've built here. Funding for that version isn't open yet. When it is, we'll link to the pitch materials from this page.

We'd love your feedback while we build it out - tell us what you thought (two minutes, no account), or drop us a line.
